🎧 The Story Behind Plantasia

Back in 1976, American composer Mort Garson released Mother Earth’s Plantasia — an album unlike any other. Created entirely with early Moog synthesizers, it was dedicated “for plants and the people who love them.”

Each song was designed to resonate with the energy fields of living organisms — especially plants. The idea? That music can help plants grow faster and healthier, influencing their vibration and molecular response.

At first, the album was obscure — given away with houseplants at Mother Earth’s Plant Store in Los Angeles. But decades later, Plantasia became a cult phenomenon: a timeless expression of the connection between sound and life.

🌍 Music as a Universal Language of Growth

Modern research confirms what Plantasia hinted at decades ago: frequency affects biology.

Certain tones and harmonic intervals stimulate chlorophyll production, making plants grow taller and greener.
Animals and humans, too, respond to frequencies — from brainwave synchronization to emotional healing.
Even the Earth vibrates in rhythm with cosmic sound: the Schumann Resonance (7.83 Hz), often called the heartbeat of the planet.
